Take the Chance!

Take the chance in life and do what is right,,,,

"It is still right if everyone thinks it is wrong and its still wrong if everyone thinks it's right"
so true- if you don't shoot-- you will most undoubtly miss it
What do you have to lose? and if you do lose- its in your taqdeer-written already- if you do not try something new your life will always stay the same..you will live your life wondering what if i had done that? what if i had said salam to that person i wud only have gotten hasanas...Take the chance and do what you feel is right. :D Take advantage of the moment and all that is in it. But take heed- don't be irrational.

You can choose what you want to do in life. That is one of the blessing bestowed to human kind by Allah (swt). The choice of right or wrong- reasoning itself. Do what you need to do and take the chance before last breath escapes your soul and remember there is no going back....

Forgive and Forget

I made this :D
Forgive and forget.

Commonly said- Rarely used.
The thing is we forgive.. we really do...its the forgetting part that is hard.

"Can i use your iPod?"
"Uhhh..."
"Remember the time you broke my iPod and i forgave you?"
"Fine...-here"

In the Qur'an:

*"Pardon them and overlook- Allah loves those who do good" (5:13)

*The good deed and the evil deed cannot be equal. Repel (the evil) with one which is better (i.e. Allâh ordered the faithful believers to be patient at the time of anger, and to excuse those who treat them badly), then verily! he, between whom and you there was enmity, (will become) as though he was a close friend.

But none is granted it (the above quality) except those who are patient, and none is granted it except the owner of the great portion (of the happiness in the Hereafter i.e. Paradise and in this world of a high moral character).  (41:34-35)

We have the forgiving part downpacked.. its the forgetting that we should work on.. we should not hold a grudge for indeed grudges are... plain bad :)
If someone hurt your feeling and says sorry or even does NOT say sorry.. Forgive them.

Each small deed whether even an atoms weight you did will be accounted on the day of judgement on your scale of deeds as in surah Zil Zal ayah 7

So forgive and ask for forgiveness from Al Ghaffar!!

Apples :D

"An apple a day keeps the doctor away" yah well it also changes humanity...

I always knew Apples were important to humans!!

Thank Allah he made apples for inspirations!

"I Thank Allah" ~poem

Dont copy plz.. :)
I Thank Allah
I Thank Allah for everything I see
I Thank Allah for what He has given me
I Thank Allah for the place he has brought me
I Thank Allah for every breath I take
I Thank Allah for everything I make
I Thank Allah for all the blessings he gives
I Thank Allah that he has given me the ability
To survive this life with humility
In this twisted reality, mix between fantasy
Everything I did -Everything I do –Everything I’ll do
Are for Allah’s sake, only
He has brought me to where I stand
Helping me get out of the quicksand
Of what we call life and desires
Alhamdullilah
All praise is to Allah
Ya Allah if I begin
To thank You for all You’ve bestowed to me
Shall take me till my death bed
Or till the sky is the color red
I thank You, oh Allah The Everlasting - For everything

Be Thankful for Your Life

Death can come at any time, so in order to die as a Muslim, we must live as a Muslim. Remember the thousands who are in their graves who would do anything just to come back and complete their duties for Allah's sake and to be a better Muslim. Stead fast in their iman. But their time is gone...

We are blessed with the present time. Unlike what most people say-  " I'll do it it tomorrow" -. My mum always says, "There is no tomorrow" true that. It is always today.. but what do you know if tomorrow will even come?

Sometimes it feels life is just horrible and the most famous phrase is on your lips" i hate my life _-_ life stinks" Take heed.. for Allah has written everything that is to happen in your life.. endure it with patience. For Allah loves the patient ones.

No matter how good or bad you think life is,

No matter how many hardships and struggles life throws your way,

No matter what other say, ...

Wake up each day and be thankful for your life and all that you have in it.

For many would do anything to have it back...

Be Who You Are

The more you seek, the more you know,  the more its shown

yet somethings are always left to discover, a missing piece, something unknown.
You are never what you perceive to be, merely a mirage with a hidden mystery.
The reflection in mirror might feed them lies, but be true to yourself,
and you'll realize, the test is only between you and Him.
Be who you are in the midst of the day, as you are when the sun goes down and the lights go dim.
No single person knows themselves from head to toe, from thought to soul. So be who you really are.
"i am who i am"

True color will always show...

silent tears no one sees
different shades

I've always wondered how years of good can
be washed away with a second deed of bad.
How countless smiles can drawn with a
single tear. How we can paint a soul only to
know they have their own set of colors to
show. Perhaps we used the wrong set of
brushes, and choose the wrong tint of
shade, and the wrong types of colors. Held
on to the wrong collection of memories
drawn only to fade. why? because we have attached ourselves to this dunya...
love of dunya do we have not?

Ya out side im smiling- but inside I'm dying.

Watch your Words

Say what you mean. And mean what you say.  Be wise with your words. Take heed on what you say and when you say it, to whom you say it to, and how you say it and when you say it. Because once the words have left your mouth.. there is no going back...

Sidra k. Afzal

The Past, Present, and Future

my favorite quote from Kung Fu Panda

The Past. We all have those moments in life when we feel like you could just forget them...But you cant just burn the past. But what you can do is be a better a person in the present and learn from the past. Learn from your mistakes... and plan to do better for the future. As an amazing person once said," Don't dwell over the past~ live in the present~ and plan for the future."

Then there's the fear of the future... the fear of what will happen. Remember that everything is already written in your book. Your taqdeer. Allah has written everything in your life. your happiness your sorrows your hardships your joy and bliss. no one knows what tomorrow holds. No matter how much you plan if it is not written that it will not happen, no matter how much you try.. it WONT happen. When you go to sleep do you ever think you could not wake up? or that in fact you could die any second?

The present is the best of time it is indeed a gift. We should make benefit of it the best we can. We should pray each of our prayers as if it is our last prayer... For in fact the prayer we just prayed could be our last prayer.. We should try to to be the best we can be.. always remember Allah and stay away from shaytan. if you died now what wuld you have to regert? live your life the best you can becuz truth is... you dont know when you will die.. if you hurt someones feelings.. apologize - clear up the matter.. if your lagging in your prayers.. become more frequent.
I will leave you this Hadith,"

"Ibn Abbas narrated that Prophet Mohammad (PBUH) said:
"There are two blessings which many people lose: (Their) health and free time for doing good."
(Bukhari 8/421)

Oh my Mother ...

My week end was Allhmdullilah one of the best in my life so far :D.. One of the many things I did, was to see a 6 day old baby... my heart melted... as I held him my hands and looked at his sweet peaceful face.. I thought, "Imagine one day this bundle of joy will grow up and start to talk and walk -- he will grow up to be a individual person and make his own choices.. his mothers love for him and all she did for him would he remember?.. How much she stayed up for him, loved him and cared for him no matter what happened.?".

This made me think of myself.. I was so tiny when I was born; that my father was scared to hold me until I became like 3 months.. imagine.. now look now- ....when  in fact I was just a kid and my mother took care of me. We are so ungrateful sometimes. We take our mums for granted....'Nothing can equal a mothers love for her a child'... Think of all the sacrifices she did for us, All the time she endured us constantly crying-   then talking and so much more- She gave up all her hobbies, just to make sure we got the best......Then look at our ungratefulness..

Do we ever take a moment to imagine how much she gave up for us? Probably not. I don't know bout you- but I do think... and I really don't know what I would do without my Ami Ji <3.... Think of how much your mother has done for you.. Your laundry- Your food.. Man your LIFE is on her... But do we see? Maybe... -+- But we push it right aside..and just take everything she does for us for granted. When was the last time you told you mum you love her ...and truly meant it from your heart?

Never forget that under you mums feet- is your Jannah... until you get married <- 4 the girls) ;) so always listen to her and obey her without saying "Uff" or give a  sigh or anything that shows displeasure. Who do you turn to, in times of need and stress? Who do you lean on for support? Your Mother.

No doubt~ there comes a time when our parents become strict on us and apply many rules. I know these times become hard,  but you must accept the idea that they know the best for you and want you to be the best.
After you embrace this idea and believe on it with full trust-
Your life becomes a whole lot of easier :D

If   your mum is with you.. Allah bless her soul .. go right now and give her a hug and tell her how much you love her and how much she means to you.. and if Allah has taken her soul.. inna lillahi wa innailahi rajiooon.. make dua for her and be her sadaqa jariyah..

May Allah give my mother and your mother Jannatil Firdous and save them from all the azabs  Ameen-summa-meen

Speechless

This is a poem i wrote to post  next week but specific some one ;)  requested me to put cuz she loved it soo much
Its pretty deep...:D

Speechless
Sometimes life renders you speechless..

When things are going your way
and you think it’ll always stay
that way
speechless –so happy- nothing 2 say
but one day, everything
comes crashing ~down, down, down
making you permanently frown frown frown
all you have left is nothing
not even a little something
gone is everything
just cuz of a single line
caused everything to lose its shine
you had to let go of your dreams so high
too far away - up in the sky
tried to reach it
but
in the end of the day, ud just cry
you’d just sit and despair
Contemplate how its so unfair
cuz the reality shone through
made you lose your fantasy
it hurt you so bad – so bad it hurt you
why had you been s blind?
Why had you shut your mind?
Why nothingness is all you could find?
Believed everything would stay the same
That nothing would ever change
But it did, like a valley to a mountain range
Things went downhill for you.
Started being sad
Stated being mad
Started being blue
So right -how true
Speech less – so pained- nothing 2 say
All the things u did were in vain
Much pain was all u did gain
All your hard work down the drain
Thought nothing was impossible
Even though the word itself says I’m possible
Turns out something’s aren’t possible
Something’s aren’t meant to be
Its just destiny
Used to think it could really be
But it turned out differently
Life is so unpredictable
Sometimes so unblieveable
Renders you speechless….

True Beauty

Pretty :)
I just really have to get this out... I really don't like the way beauty is portrayed now a days... In this day and
age anyone can change their hair... wear makeup.. get skin tightening...wear contacts .. and completely change
them selves. Then they look extremely pretty and yea.... But I believe in true beauty- natural beauty- inner
beauty. And i believe not changing the way you look and keeping your self they way you are and the way Allah
create you is important. Besides our body is amana. It belongs to Allah (saw) and we are to take care of it and
not change the way he made us.
But this is just what i believe
:)

Eternal Abode

Remember paradise never forget your goal
:D

--"Dunya isn't wat u shud try 2 gain
--all the things u did were in vain
--pain was all u did gain
--that drove u insane
--all ur efforts down the drain
--cuz life is jus a car in the  E-Z pass lane
--to our eternal abode"

Hijabi and Proud :D

Like a pearl in an oyster

We all have that inner feeling of 'Man if i didn't wear hijab...' we may try to deny- but its true - its ok :P
We see all those pretty gals flaunting about and doing whatnot; they get all the attention~ don't they? But never forget what their eternal result is...

Many people in this society of western culture believe that its only important to wear it after you get married. but actually it is wajib on u once you mature :) many people do not know this but that's okay .. tomorrow is always a new day to be a a better person :)

There are 3 types of girls in hijabi relations.

1 ) The ones who are insecure thinking oh I'm not beautiful and things along those lines... Girl- the hijab brings out the inner beauty. The sweetness of iman is shown. Your piety is expressed by what you wear. Innocence and true beauty are shown...You are the most beautiful when you wear hijab...  Ever so heavenly beautiful!!

<<<----- imagine as lollipop :D

2) The ones who- I think that's hijab but I'm not sure..- the kind that are soo flashy, every guy is so gunna turn around.  Those " sequins ". Sometimes we forget what purpose the hijab serves. We get so used to it, we forget... Hijab is to cover our hair, and chest. To show modesty. To not show up in the crowd. Yes i agree this is hard when everyone is trying to show out in the crowd. But hey - no one does it better than Gaga... hahaha so leave it her :DD

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ux4zJqNhGJo&feature=youtube_gdata_player

3) There are some who wear jus to please other people or show off that they are more religious .... Sometimes its unintentional. If we think about it-- this is not correct. Its like riya showing off. which is discouraged in Islam. We should try to be humble.. trust me I know .. being is humble is hard :) Though:  "Nothing is impossible. The word itself says I'm Possible"

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_0XWD3fgPYk&feature=youtube_gdata_player

^ unlike this guy lol

But remember Allah is All Forgiving.
{ Ghaffur ru Raheem } One of the best things human kind has been given, is a chance to repent. To repent until the day the sun rises from the opposite side and sky will be a blazing red color. May Allah protect us from jahanam and forgive our sins. Ameen.

Never Lose Hope

Please dont copy

Never Lose Hope
when your world has turned upside down
and all you can do is frown

Never Lose Hope
when everything seems unfair
and all you can do is sit and despair

Never forget Allah's there
Allah's always near
He is always there

Never lose Hope
times may be hard and rough
no doubt know that life is tough

Never lose hope
For you are better off than most
some cant even afford to be a host

Never forget Allah knows
through hardships and struggles
remember to smile along with the bubbles

Cuz after all the sun is shining
behind the clouds raining
besides after the insane rain
a rainbow is what you gain

Never Lose Hope

Surprises and the Truth

Bismillah,

Surprises. Life is filled with them. Whether good or bad, it really depends on how you take them. And what they are..something someone said..something someone did- left you shocked~-~totally surprised. But somethings are just staring you in the face but you are blind to see them. Completely oblivious sometimes..left in the dark..and scared to open your eyes to the reality that's acing you...Yet rather you'd stay in a fairy tale fantasy.

Many things in life you just do under pressure then say "omg" did i actually do that?? Like losing yourself to the people. Where are these people gunna bring you to? Hell. Copying celebs. Getting her hairstyle, wearing his shirt. Seriously stop and think where in the world is this gunna bring you? Surprise- Surprise! Its not gunna bring you anywhere good that's for sure...

Life is filled with surprises whether you know or not

Now~ we often have a misconception of the Truth.. And some- who am i kidding? MOST people tend to astray from the truth- due to the lack of knowledge and ignorance to keep their eyes close....May Allah protect us from being like the ones whose heart and mind and eyes have a veil over them from seeing the truth. And may Allah give us the ability to always stay on the right path with full iman.
Ammen

Surah Kahf on fridays...

Bismillah,

The Prophet (salAllahu alayhi wasalam) said, ‘Whoever recited Surah al Kahf in the same manner in which it was revealed, it will serve for him as a light on the Day of Judgement, from his domicile to Makkah. And whoever recited the last ten verses, and it happens that the Dajjal should appear after that, Dajjal will not be empowered over him’.
[Hakim 1/564 & Dhahabi]

Abu’d-Darda’ reported that the Messenger of Allah (salAllahu alayhi wasalam) said, “Anyone who memorises ten ayats from the beginning of Surat al-Kahf (18) will be protected from the Dajjal.”
[Muslim, Riyad as-Salihin by Imam an-Nawawi 183 #1012]
One variant has, “from the end of Surat al-Kahf.”

The Prophet (salAllahu alayhi wasalam) said, ‘Whoever recited Surah al Kahf on a Friday, Allah will kindle for him abundant light to brightly illuminate the period between the two Fridays (the Friday on which the recitation was made and the next Friday)’
[Hakim 2/367, Mishkat al-Masabih #2175, however Baihaqi disagreed with it’s authenticity in Sahih Al Jami 2/1104]

Narrated Al-Bara’bin Azib: A man was reciting Surah Al-Kahf and his horse was tied with two ropes beside him. A cloud came down and spread over that man, and it kept on coming closer and closer to him till his horse started jumping (as if afraid of something). When it was morning, the man came to the Prophet, and told him of that experience. The Prophet said, “That was As-Sakina (tranquility) which descended because of (the recitation of) the Qur’an.”
[Sahih al-Bukhari 6:61 #531, at-Tirmidhi 2810/A]

Now after reading this will you read surah Kahf? aw la? (or not)

Surah Report :)

Humazah
Surah Humazah number 104. This Surah is a general Surah that is for everyone. It is not just for the makkan leaders who used to flamboyant their wealth and count it.
Humazah is one of the 3 surahs in the Quran that begins with destruction; the other 2 surahs being Surah mutaffin and Surah lahab. It opens with threats to the Humazah and Lumazah. Bu what exactly are the Humazah and Lumazah? They are the slanderous reviler and habitual defamer. These are the ones who when possess wealth defame and degrade others. These are the ones who think they are better than others. Because of processing these qualities and believing that they are higher they will go to hutama.
These types of qualities were found in makkan times and la shak they are found today. In ancient times the leaders would sit outside and count their wealth. Why? Because they legitly had no life. They would count one...two... But lo and behold- when someone comes to them, in need of a little from their excessive wealth; do show any kindness? Bala they shoo the person away.
As for the tafseer of this surah the first ayah starts with wail as I earlier mentioned. Wail is a one word that means destruction or woe to them. So in this context it is translated as, “Woe to every slanderous reviler, habitual defamer.” This ayah is basically for one person with 2 different qualities. The form of Humazah is fu’a’lah—always doing. It comes from 2 babs- daraba and nasara.
The second ayah is, “the one who hordes wealth and counts it.” As I said before the Arabs used to count their wealth and still want more. Their attitude was like ‘yehh bring the money in- bring it in’…outright greedy.
Ayah number 3 is what they think. “Yahsabu- ‘He thinks that his wealth will immortalize him. That possessing more money will allow him to live longer. As if money is like the water from the fountain of youth enabling him to live forever. One problem. There is no fountain of youth.
Ayah number 4 is about their eternal result. “Most surely know he will be hurled in to the capital C, Crusher.” Now one may wonder what the crusher really means. You needn’t to worry; the question and answers are in the next verses. At here I may add that hutama is on the scale of fu’a’lah~ innate always doing {crushing}.  The next ayah “And what will make you know what the crusher is?”
“It is the fire of Allah set ablaze; kindled.” This is ayah number 6. Muqada is ism mafool being a sifa of Narullah. Wa badayin ayah number 7,”Which mounts over hearts.” This describes how the fire of Allah. Heart is the tenderest organ in our body. Literally and figuratively. When we burn our hand or break our elbow it only hurts in that specific place it does not hurt any where else… sah? But as for the heart-when it gets hurt- it hurts the whole body.
Ayah 8 also describes the fire of Allah. “Indeed it will close in on them.” It will close in on them as coming closer to them. Encasing them. Remember that Nari- jahanm is pitch black and they will not be able to see around them. They will be stuck in darkness... Thus is the punishment for them.
The last ayah- ayah number 9 is, “In ever extending {fire} pillars” The fire will leap- mount over their hearts, close in on them in ever extending fire pillars. Whose punishment is this? To every backbiter and slanderer.
As Muslims we should refrain from useless talk such as backbiting, slandering, and gossiping (no duh). May Allah forgive our sins and have mercy onus and guide us to stay on the right path. Siratal lazeena an amta alaihim ghairal maghdoobi allaihim wallad daleen. Ameen :D

1.Dua of the Week

Shaddad ibn Aws narrated that the Prophet [صلى الله عليه وسلم] said; "the most superior request for forgiveness is to say:

'Allaahmma anta rabbee laa elaaha illaa ant. Anta khalaqtanee wa ana 'abduka wa ana 'alaa 'ahdika wa wa'dika mastata't. A'oothu bika min sharri ma sana't. Aboo'u laka bi ni'matika alayya wa aboo'u laka bi thambee. Faghfir lee. Fa innahoo laa yaghfiruth-thunooba illaa ant.'

[O Allah, You are my Lord. There is no god besides You. You created me and I am Your servant, following your covenant and [my] promise to you as much as I can. I seek refuge in You from the evil that I have done. Before You I acknowledge Your blessings bestowed upon me and I confess my sins to You. So forgive me, for surely no one can forgive sins except You.]
The Prophet [صلى الله عليه وسلم] then added, 'anyone who says this during the day, firmly believing in it, and dies before the evening; or says it in the evening, firmly believing in it, and dies before the following morning, will be among the people of paradise.' "
[Sahih al-Bukhari, vol 8, pp212-3, no 318]
