!!~ YOLO ~!!

Bismillah,

Yo wat's poppin? B-)

YOLO man YOLO!
yea..uh huh.. but I'm muslim..

But muslim is exactly right. A Muslim believes in the last day- Day of Judgement. In simple English: We will live again. For. Eternity.

But technically speaking YOLO for Muslims- We should be like go out there and be better Muslim and do good deed cuz you only live in this life once. So make us of your time and do something worthwhile not go around screaming YOLO and doing something stupid.

Man will be like oh only if i had another chance -yalaytani kuntu turaba- oh if only i was dust. Why? Becuz of his life results. We are blessed to be Muslims. why not seize the opportunity to be a better one? We wont get another chance.. NOCY yo NOCY. No Other Chance Yo. lol

So its YOLT in belief but YOLO in technical life terms but NOCY in screaming:)

astaghfirallah- sorry 4 the bad word :(
+1  if you thought NOCY was lame :D

Bismillah,

That's right. Think.

Many a time we act without thinkin'. Talk without  implyin'.
So we are told to think upon our actions and what we have done. Yet we fail to listen. Why? out or arrogance and ignorance.
arrogance- why should we?
ignorance- what good will it do?

The answer is quite simple. :)

It will make you a better a person. So try to think. But not too much because...well its not good.

Refer to da pic. :D

.WoRdS.

Bismillah,
When we are angry,
We often say things we do not mean.
act irrationally
And then after the steam
has subsided we realize the mistake we made
and regret it.
We try our best to forget it.
but from our mind it will never fade
But we cant so always remember: Don't do something permanently safeeh* when you are temporarily angry...

My Ammi often says, "If you cant say something nice then be quiet."
This may be hard-But hey you should always try. How would you feel if someone said those very words to you?

The Prophet (saw) said: Asumtuh Najah
We should always keep in mind that everyone has feelings - whether big or small..we all have a heart. <3

The Two Books

Holy Book
Facebook

What book will you choose?
Face book or the holy book?
Which will you keep?
Which will you lose?

Choose wisely for this a decision of life
Which one will help you overcome a strife?
Always be there for you
The guiding light that never loses its shine
Always bright till the end of time

Which will render you useless?
Fill you with nonsense?
Just forever haunt you
Cage you like a jail
No escape even with a bail

What has words that are true?
While the other is made of lies fabricated by you
To which will you say good bye
To which will you welcome with a forever hi

Chose wisely for another chance you will never get
So make a choice that you don’t regret
Keep the book close to your heart and never forget
That to Allah we all will return

Minds

Bismillah,

At one point in time we have all heard the quote,

"Great minds discuss ideas-Average minds discuss events- Small minds discuss people."Now if you look at the real meaning behind the simple words you'll see the depth in it.

Great minds: those who posses great minds do not worry themselves with the useless things of this world. They do not indulge into worldly things. ...What she said what he said... these things matter not to them.

Now through the Islamic perspective the great mind is the mind which cares not of anything other than Allah. He does not get bothered by simple daily dilemmas  he is always focused on the deen and never forgets Allah is watching him.

Average minds and small minds: These are basically the minds which care for whats around them.
~~Did you see LeBron?? That's what she said.~~ Useless chat if you ask me. Sure one has to be up to date about things but why of the newest songs or newest gossip?

You only get so much time to live. Live your life as to its full worth. So when it flashes by you...its worth watching. And that its not spent texting and facebooking.

Comment below and tell me what kind of mind have you gotten and how will you try to change it?

The Ultimate Key to Happiness.

Bismillah,

Happy.   Smile.    Joy.   Heart warmth.    Bliss.

{::Expert:-:Preface::}
Many people find happiness in love, shoes, clothes, shopping, video games and what not. But genuine happiness is rarely experienced in regular day to day situations by common folk.

Think back to the time that you actually felt deeply happy. Don't lie to yourself. When you felt happy- that warm feeling all the way down to your heart? Not that time when that desi aunty said,"mashallah kitna piyara bacha hain." cuz dear- they all say that..or that time that guy complimented your hijab? that's not true happiness, and im sorry to say it never was. :(

Now there's the key...ahh the lost key of happiness for which many search for. They believe that finding the key will lead them to pure happiness. Lets be true to ourselves, We all think there is a key o happiness right? Well when you think about it..Happiness is a journey not a destination.

Finding the key to happiness vs. The key to finding happiness.

These 2 concepts are similar in the manner of finding happiness. But nevertheless, different in regarding the idea it self. One is a search for the lost key..and many people adapt this idea. But the idea we as Muslims should adapt in to our life is the key to finding happiness. why? because this idea has a solution. while the other is spent in a worthless search as if happiness is thing that you physically want-(well technically that's true but not in essence..) and the matter is left in your own hands.

The Key

Now what is the key to finding true happiness? What is the way to feel complete contentment?
The answer is quite simple my friends, To leave all matters in the hands of Allah... And once yopu accept this... you will have a mutma-innal Quluub. :) iA

True Happiness

You see, man has a tendency
to believe that power is what he
     he has completely
to believe that he can shape his future easily
     that he can control destiny

You see, man is quite greedy
quite gullible and power hungry
to think he has all matters
in his own hands

But how wrong
It is only Allah
who has Ilmul Ghaib
It is only Allah
Who is Alimal Ghaib.

BAN YOUTUBE!!

Bismillah,

Salam all, i know this may sound extreme and weird but don't use YouTube for this week. We are trying to ban the number on users of YouTube who watch the movie of ridiculing the Prophet. Those _-__*__-_ people keep re-posting the video and the comments... are HORRENDOUS!!

You wanna help? Then please stay off of YouTube for this week and tell all your fam and friends to do so also! Each person counts.

As i mentioned in an earlier post

It is narrated by Abu Azeem that Rasullulah (saw) told him: "Should i not tell you a basic thing through which you will benefit in this Life(dunya) and the Next? Upon you is to attend the gatherings of the people of zikr and when you are alone keep your tongue moving in zikr, and love for the sake of Allah and hate for the sake of Allah."

So hate this for the sake of Allah and your love for the prophet. Dont be violent...Protest!!

Be Thankful!

Bismillah,

Always be Thankful for you what you have been granted, And try not ask for more. Have Qanaat- contentment with what you have. And know that Allah is the AL-Muti. There are people who don't have shoes and you want a pair for $315 (lebron's)?? Is that fair? There are people..many people.. who are worse off than you. You didn't get your hundred dollar coach bag? oh boo hoo -- poor you..There's some people who cant even DREAM of owning something worth 100 dollars let alone a stinkin purse..!!

Never forget it is Allah who brought to where you stand.. nothing of your own. If not for him..well then nothing would have happened. You passed a test? Well its cuz you studied so hard right? hmm think again.. Everything is by the Will of Allah- So never despair and Always be thankful for what Allah has given you and you will find your self on a more positive side of life. Rather than dwelling over what you don't have.. be thankful for what you do have.

Shall you start to count your blessings... you will go on forever..
So say Alhamdullilah often. :)

From the best of Good- Zikr

 Bismillah,

This is just a brief reminder how we should always do zikr of Allah (swt). Allah says, "Remember me and I will remember you."

When a group of people remember Allah- Allah (swt) remembers them with his angles. And when a believer loves Allah, Allah loves him and tells his angles to love him as well.. and then people love him as well.. Thus resulting in a muslim lovable person. :).

Current Events

Bismillah,

Muhammad (saw).
Movie.
Anti-Islam.
Muslims.
Christians.
Protest.
Brotherhood.
Lies.

These are the most common words you are hearing.
A ____ (i choose to leave this blank -_-) guy in Cali has made a movie on the Prophet Muhammad. The cast claims not being informed that the movie was Anti-Islam, but rather that it was about life in early Egypt......? Doesn't that sound plausible... >.>

This movie has caused an outrage. Emotional. Mental. Physical. There has been much violence and bloodshed going around. Now my words may sound controversial- but its the deep truth. These occurring happen to see how violent Muslims get how much blood they shed. Why? So that people can back their argument that Muslims are violent people. Now don't get me wrong but I love Muhammad (saw) and so should you... But the best way to end this disastrous occurring is by protesting. I'm not gunna tell you shut your mouth and be patient and that this all will subside.. heck no! I'm telling you to go out there and protest!

Our religion should not be ridiculed by ignorant people- nor should it be generalized by them violent peoples.... It should be known by us- the ones who don't use violence but rather show that even under times of stress Muslims use the way of peace.

Violence solves nothing but ruins everything

Take the example of Mahatma Gandhi.

"I cannot teach you violence, as I do not myself believe in it. I can only teach you not to bow your heads before any one even at the cost of your life."

"I object to violence because when it appears to do good, the good is only temporary; the evil it does is permanent."

The Silent

Bismillah,

“Whoever reflects will find that the most dignified person of every gathering is the one who is most silent, Because silence beautifies ones words and conceals ones faults.”

Teachers

Bismillah,

Teachers

Teachers have the respect value as much as your father. Now a days what i see portrayed is ...saddening to say the least.

As seen in the picture.. that is how normal day to day teacher-parent-student seems are depicted. However in the old days.. when people had more common sense to them selves... realized that the fault of low grades was not due to the teachers lack of educational abilities, but rather due to the student lack of attention and focus in class. And to support this i can say.. teachers in the old days were strict...like ~uptight -back straight~ strict.

And students were expected to full fill their expectations and they did.

Now... well... you can see and evaluate yourself. As students we should try our best to be the best we can be. Teachers play a major role in our life.. and if you can't accept that.. then my friend i can only say.. try. Imagine... they wake up just to teach you. And how do you treat them? As if they are doing a favor for you by teaching you.. When in fact you should be humbled that they are spending time to teach you, when they could be bestowing their knowledge to someone else. Just think.

I have been blessed with exceptionally amazing teachers this year...one is leaving and it is sooo heartbreaking. He was the best teacher I ever had Alhamdullilah. Learning fiqh, hadith, and sarf had never been so fun. May Allah give him the best of Dunya and Akhira. Ameen.:)

::My advice::
You never know what you have until its gone and even though you thought you would never lose it... try to cherish it as long as you have it.

Hadith -24

Bismillah,

Abu Hurairah narrates that the Prophet Sallahu alaihi wa salam said, "Two words that are beloved by Arahmna, (and are) light on the tongue and heavy on the scale are,: Subhanallahi wa bihamdihi - Subjanallahil Atheem."

Such a beautiful Hadith mA. We should try our best to say this zikr as much as we can. Beloved by Allah ...heavy on our scale ...and so easy to say! What more could we ask for?

Depression

Bismillah,

Emo. Suicide. Drugs. Anti-Depressants. Sleeping Pills. Insomnia. Withdrawal.

Many people are being victimized to this plague. The number increases while the age of getting inflicted decreases. This plagues name is Depression. Depression is known as a condition of general emotional dejection and withdrawal. There are basically 2 types of people when it comes to categorizing depression. The Open and The Hidden.

The Open are those people who can be diagnosed with depression jus by talking with them for a little bit. On the other hand The Hidden are those people who become within them selves. They have a P.H.D in hiding emotions and concealing themselves. This, my friends, is fatally dangerous...

To deal with this people go to physcologists. And in the doing- might start worshiping a priest or a church pastor in hopes of relieving themselves...thus committing shirk. Shirk is associating partners with Allah and is one of the major sins.

While one might get temporarily relief from Drugs and whatnot...they will realize that their problems were never gone...in fact they have become worse!! :O

Now what is the cure to Depression? Cutting your self? Taking drugs? Making the decision that you shouldn't live anymore?? --err wrong--

Emo:Allah gave you this body, It is amanah... we are not allowed to change it or harm it in any way.

Druggies: should i even get started? --Dude jus wake up....your killin yourself and it aint cool homie- it aint cool...

Suiciders: Allah gave you this life and whatever is in it. Allah says in the Quran," after every hardship is ease, verily after every hard ship is ease.
No gave you the right to end your life no matter how blue thngs might seem... Remember, "There is always the sun shining behind the clouds that are raining"

::Muslims::
Never forget Allah is ALWAYS there for us. No matter where you are he knows.
So just believe in Him and raise your hand in prayer.
+Allah knows by Zain Bhikha+

May Allah make everything easy on us. Ameen.

Going back to School

Bismillah,

School.

A jail.
A heaven.
A pain.
 A joy.
A place 2 meet up with your homies...

What school means to one differs from individual to another.
But it should mean to a muslim is much more than cliques and friends. We all the types of kids there are. If you go to public school then that is the best way of making dawah. Why should i make dawah you ask? well becuz when your pals and buddies see yo they see u as the face of Islam they tend to generalize. And no matter how much we hate it .. everyone still continues to do it. We see it everyday.. y'all desis out there... ever take a car ride? lol yeah lets jus stop it there :) So be the best muslim you can be!

Now for a muslim girl she should try her best to wear hijab and for a muslim guy.. to keep his pants pulled up. School is a place where you learn knowledge not a fashion show.  And this may sound cliche but this is the golden time of your life. THE only time you have 2 the greatest things in the world. Time and good brain. Use it. Don't let it go to waste.

Think of how fortunate you are to been have given the nimah of attending a school many kids in third world countries have a stick to write with on the ground while you have a legit classroom with pens and pencils and paper as much as you want. chairs to sit on.. their chairs are the hard ground. So thank Allah for you blessing and not misuse it and be ungrateful.

May Allah enable us to to act upon our Ilm. Ameen.

Sidra Afzal

#SHOUT OUT: to all muslim hijabis may Allah give you barakah! and for the others- strength to do so also! Ameen  :)
